La Rochelle

La Rochelle is a French city located in the southwest of France, near the sea. The city was founded in the Middle Ages and is now surrounded by medieval ramparts. It is famous for its rich architecture and especially for its historic Old Port and the Tour de la Lanterne, which date back to the late Middle Ages.
