Wizz Air launches a new route from Brussels South Charleroi Airport: The airline is adding Tirana to its network of destinations

Charleroi, 2 June 2020 – Wizz Air has announced the upcoming launch of a base at Tirana International Airport – Nënë Tereza. The airline will be parking three Airbus A320s there. From this new base, Wizz Air will be launching a connection between Albania and Brussels South Charleroi Airport. As of 1 July 2020, there will be 2 flights a week between Brussels-Charleroi airport and Tirana. Tickets are available now on the airline’s website – http://www.wizzair.com.

Operational at BSCA since 2004, Wizz Air will be launching its 15th direct route from Brussels-Charleroi airport on 1 July. This new route connects us to one more country that has not been available from Brussels South Charleroi Airport until now.

Albania’s main economic, industrial and cultural hub, Tirana will initially be connected to Brussels South Charleroi Airport thanks to two flights a week. This frequency will gradually be increased to four rotations/week from 1August 2020.

  • 01/07/2020 – 19/07/2020: 2 flights/week, Wednesdays and Sundays
  • 20/07/2020 – 31/07/2020: 3 flights/week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • After 1 August 2020: 4 flights/week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
